Instructions
Dordle offers two game modes:
- Daily Dordle: This mode presents you with a new set of two words to guess each day. Everyone playing Daily Dordle gets the same words, creating a shared challenge and opportunity to compare scores.
- Free Play: This mode lets you play with random word sets as many times as you'd like. It's a great way to practice and test your skills without being constrained by a daily limit.
Each turn, you'll enter a five-letter word for each of the two grids. After each guess, the tiles will change color to provide feedback:
- Green: The letter is correct and in the correct position.
- Purple: The letter is correct but in the wrong position.
- Gray: The letter is not present in either word.
Here are some additional tips for playing Dordle:
*Start with common words: In the first few rounds, use words with frequently used letters to increase the chances of getting some green and purple tiles.
*Consider letter positions: Once you have some green and purple tiles, carefully analyze their positions within each word to narrow down your possibilities.
*Use different starting words: Experiment with different starting words to see which ones provide the most helpful feedback in the early stages.
*Don't be afraid to guess randomly: If you're stuck, sometimes a random guess can lead to unexpected insights and break through a mental block.
*Practice regularly: The more you play, the better you'll become at identifying patterns and strategizing your guesses.
